A recent survey of PA educators indicates a low-average level of knowledge related to the topic, with only 35% of respondents disclosing formal professional development on the topic. Participants will engage in discussions and activities designed to explore the potential benefits, challenges, and implications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the educational landscape of PA programs.

Learning Objectives:

Discuss common faculty perceptions on role of AI in PA education.
Identify benefits and challenges for faculty in utilizing new educational resources provided by generative AI tools.
Explore practical applications by examining real-world examples that demonstrate how AI can be used in PA education.
Create actionable strategies for integrating AI into PA programs while addressing faculty concerns.
