Description: Integrating telemedicine into PA education is essential for preparing students for healthcare's digital future, combining telehealth simulations with traditional learning to develop proficient, empathetic practitioners. This session highlights an institution's successful integration of telehealth simulations into existing PA curricula, with discussions on current practices and resources in telehealth education highlighted.

Learning Objectives:

Analyze and present a case study detailing the integration of telehealth into a hybrid Physician Assistant (PA) program, highlighting the challenges faced and the solutions implemented
Evaluate and share empirical evidence on the effectiveness of simulation-based training in telemedicine, including statistical analysis of learning outcomes and the impact on patient care quality
Design a strategic plan to optimize the use of organizational telehealth educational resources, incorporating an assessment of current utilization, identification of gaps, and recommendations for enhancements
