Description: Throughout PA education, beginning with admissions and ending with the OSCE summative exam, PA students are evaluated by faculty who have conscious and unconscious biases. This research brief will demonstrate two examples of application of the Many-Facet Rasch Model to enhance fairness and accuracy in subjective student evaluation tools.

Explain the Many-Facets Rasch (MFR) model and how it can be utilized to enhance fairness and accuracy in subjective student evaluations
Demonstrate with admissions data how to adjust for faculty rater bias in evaluations using the MFR model
Describe with data from an Interprofessional Education exercise how to use MFR model to decrease student rater bias in faculty evaluations
